Tunes for a Tuesday

Simian Mobile Disco - Cruel Intentions

Simian Mobile Disco first formed in the 90s when Madchester students James, Jas, Simon and Adam began crafting melodic electro beats in the basement to become Simian You may know SMD best from their tune 'Never be alone' which was made uber huge when French duo 'Justice' remixed and released it. Cruel Intentions is released from new album 'Temporary Pleasure's and features the dulcet tunes of Southern lycra wearing belle, Beth Ditto.. MEGA!

Sub Focus - This could be real

Nick Douwma, better known by his stage name Sub Focus, is an English drum and bass record producer. First entering mainstream consciousness when he released 'Rock it/Follow the light'
it was championed by Radio 1, with presenter Greg James making it his record of the week. This track MUST be turned up loud.... nuff respect.

The Gossip - Four Letter Word

The Gossip lead singer Beth Ditto crawling around on stage in lycra and spandex may not be visually pleasing but her sharp vocals and strong voice make The Gossip runny like honey for me. With slices of electro against Ditto's vocals with a Southern drawl twang makes this track a cert for lots of radio play and the new album 'Music for Men' well worth a listen to.

Love, SGS xoxo
